The trend-break-break action is typical of the development of labor. The active phase of labor is one in which the uterine contractions cause dilation. The woman perceives these as regular contractions, prolonged (lasting about one minute) intervals.
The active phase of labor coincides with the progressive dilatation of the cervix. is the most intense moment of childbirth, the perception of pain increases gradually as the woman’s fatigue due to short breaks.
Conventionally, it is in “active labor,” when the dilation reaches at least three centimeters and the contractions are seen at least every five minutes, with a minimum duration of 45 seconds each.
This phase normally proceeds with a certain intensity from third to seventh cm expansion, or until such time as mother and son are on the verge of tipping point. Here the mind and body still need a period of time, called “transitional.”
